Aims & Scope

The Journal of Macrofungi is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge on macrofungi (mushrooms), including their classification, distribution, and ecological interactions. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, invited mini-reviews, and short communications that focus on interdisciplinary studies related to macrofungi. Its scope covers a wide range of scientific fields such as biology, agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental sciences, provided that the research is directly related to macrofungi and contributes to the understanding and development of fungal science.
